A Quick Description

The time that I've been watching the tree I have not noticed anything different than what I've seen before: two black birds (ravens), spider webs, ladybugs, worms, and ants.  The tree is big and has large branches-some with no leaves at all and are falling down, some of the roots are above the dirt, and some leaves are yellow and some are falling down.

But there is something about the tree that I never imagined; which are sound, smell, touch and taste. So my brother and I started doing this; and we listened we heard crunches and thought it was perhaps because of the wood, for the smelling the smell is unique; which it reminded me when I was little in Mexico, those rainy days riding horses. The smell is inexplicable all I can say is that I like it and it reminds me of such good moments in my childhood. The touching is hard and weevil. And last the taste, I did not like it because it tastes like dirt and I honestly think that that was the worst taste I've tried.

I wonder if the tree smells the same all seasons or does it change to different smells?

  1. I love that the tree's smell reminded you of riding horses in Mexico. I think smells carry memories.

  2. This makes me think of the smell of pine trees in the summer. It brings back many memories of my days in Portola, California. I really like how you sit and listen intently to this tree and its surroundings. It builds a great base line for knowledge.
